I can no longer leave an app review in the iTunes store

Same problem for me.

+1, Windows on iTunes. I notice that the App that I want to review says "Downloaded" (it was a free app with In App purchases).

-1 WOW, and now, suddenly it is working. Don't ask me what iTunes is doing. One minute it won't allow me ("You must own this app to write a review") and the next minute it will.

This is incredibly frustrating. Review this app seems to be the only place it's happened to me. iTunes is ok. App Store purchases are ok. This user group is ok. I've changed my password twice in the last 2; hours, thinkjng I might have tripped a barricade because of typos or something, but it makes no difference.

I wonder if the fact that I'm trying to leave a review for a Google app - giving it 5 stars but comparing it to the Borg - has anything to do with it? ;-)

Still not working. It's been malfunctioning so long I'm responding to my own messages on the subject w/I realizing it at first.

This is not working for me, either. I've tried every trick that I've read. The most common solution seemed to be resetting my password, but that didn't work either. It seems if I enter my password about 10-15 times, it finally shows the Review screen, but it doesn't always let me submit.

I actually got Support to take a look at it. After a month of working with them (convincing them there really was a problem, even though they were able to leave 2 reviews using my credentials and continuously having to ask for updates, which were non-productive), I gave up.

I still have the issue.

I've got 2 tickets: 285824334 & 496693516. Knock yourself out.

Don't worry. 4 years (almost 5) after detection of issue - still not fixed. +1

I think reviews are very important for both customers and developers and it's not just a minor inconvenience, but a serious problem;

Normally yes, but reviews on iTunes are all one-way. I often read reviews on iTunes and have an easy solution for the person writing the bad review but there's no way to communicate back to that poor reviewer.

On Amazon, people can write comments, or suggestions, or fixes on the Amazon reviews. I prefer to buy my software on disk if possible, otherwise I look at Amazon. The ability to comment on a review is powerful.

I have the exact same problem. Suddenly I am not able to write any reviews!!. is apple gonna fix this bug??!

I contacted Apple Support and whether they fixed it or whether it fixed itself... it eventually came good again.

Oh good, I thought it was just me.

Clicking "Be the first to review" takes me to "Write a Review". But there's nowhere to do that. Clicking the empty bar below "Write a review" gets me nowhere, and nothing else looks like a possible field to write in.

Imagine downloaded the worst app you've ever paid for, then being unable to warn other people away. Frustration on top of frustration!!!

I Have the same problem from longtime and still same nothing change does anyone have idea about this (Iphone 6 IOS 9.2)
