Motorola PEBL

Hi!
I know, the new Motorola PEBL is not listet in the latest compatibility list of iSync. But anyhow: has anybody succeded in syncing it either by Bluetooth or by USB? In both ways my PB recognizes the PEBL but isn't able to synchronise.
Since Motorola told me, they don't support Mac-Compatiblity because Apple wants to do that on its own (sic!), I hope, they are working hard on it...

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi all!

Of course, i've got the same problem with my PEBL U6. I tried allmost everything. I even tried to modify the plist of iSync and copy the RAZR entry and so on (that worked previously with my Nokia Communicator 9500, which is also not in the compatibility list). After all: it didn't work! so im suffering too and am waiting for the next sSync update (wouldn't it be a nice christmas gift for all PEBL users?).

I must say that although this post is off topic i have been amazed at the hard work people have put into reworking the isync program to sync incompativle phones. Oh im so envious of the new pebl loks so nice. But i am not with tmobile, and i need a new phone. THanks for the hard work to those people. By the way just aquestion on the side. How good is it to have a cell phone that can sync with your computer? I am looking at the razr but nam not sure how useful syncing would be. Thanxs for my side post.

Well, for me it's very important. I'm a freelance video editor and I usually work on about three jobs at any given time. I have my entire schedule in iCal and it changes almost every day. I don't know what I would do without iSync, except go back to a paper organizer.

Oh, and the fact that I could put my whole address book (albeit somewhat messily) on my new phone in 30 seconds was pretty handy.

Thank you! I can't believe I overlooked that. All I had to do was set the "primary" contact number for each person and then sort by primary.

One other question I had, which is far less pressing:

For some reason when I sync my calendars I get an event happening every day on my phone's datebook named "New Event" scheduled for 7:25am. This doesn't come from my iCal, and I have nothing called "New Event" on my calendars.

This is separate from the [New] option below all the events which creates a new event in the datebook. It also happens every day, regardless of whether there is an "all day" event or not for that particular day.

Any ideas? Thanks!
