After 4.2.1 iPad doesn't even have enough free memory to run google earth

Was playing around with google earth tonight for first time since updating to 4.2.1, trying to see Tokyo, Japan and it refuses to load completely. Rebooted iPad, made sure of no running apps and....

Now we know why there is no multitasking on 3G.

You might wish to do some troubleshooting. I just checked and I can run Google Earth just fine while I'm listening to music from Pandora.

Worked for me. It took a few seconds but that's normal for me. I have DSL.

I just checked and have all layers in google earth checked on. After unchecking them all it loaded all the way.
