Okay, so to get brightness controls working again, pop in the Bootcamp Disc (or Download the AMD Catalyst Control Center binary executable), run the ATIGraphicsSetup driver, and uninstall the AMD 6750M (or 6490M) graphics driver. This should knock you back to the stock Windows driver, where brightness control functions again.

You need to use the Uninstall function from the drivers, and remove everything. Then reboot, until you're back to the stock Windows native driver. If your brightness still isn't working, try reinstalling the Bootcamp Keyboard driver?
