iPad-AirPrint on Canon wireless printers?

I have a Canon Pixma wireless printer and use the iEPP app on my iPad, and iPod. I make the screen capture of what I would like to print, open the iEPP app and select what I want to print. The app works well since I don't print off my iPad and iPod very often.
I have a Canon Pixma iP 6700D, fantastic one-picoliter photo printer. I tried to get the Canon iEPP app to work but after countless attempts, all I got was "Printer Not Found". Searching for solutions online led me to FingerPrint app that worked brilliantly. So much so I blogged about to share with the community.
Problem is because FingerPrint not a native Canon app, there's no way to control important things like print size and orientation. You can see in the last photo, a landscape oriented picture of the sunflower came out taking up 1/4 of an A4 paper, somehow rotated to its side measuring exactly 14.5 x 9.5 cm.
If anyone fingures out how it's possible to access the printer's control panel from an app that would be super cool.
So here I was trawling thru all these forums trying to find a fix, one sentence and I'm sorted! Thank you very much :)
