7-11 SpeakOut Data Service

I am a 7-11 SpeakOut subscriber (voice and data). SpeakOut runs on AT&T network. I have an unlocked iPhone. I have voice service working fine, however, data service is not functional (error message states that "could not activate data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service". SpeakOut customer service assures me that the data service is active. It does display 3G near the SpeakOut icon so I'm assuming that it is picking something up. What do I need to do to get the data service working?

One further point (relavent or irrelevant)...I use 7-11 SpeakOut voice and data service in Canada. It operates on the Rogers wireless network and it works just fine...a little slow sometimes but the service is always there. I believe that a company called Ztar actually provides the service on behalf of 7-11 in both Canada and USA (7-11 is simply a distribution channel for the services). I believe that the engineer that provided the settings information referenced in the earlier note likely worked for Ztar.
