iPad won't unlock (slide to unlock) in landscape

its happens after Downloaded new IPAD IOS 4.2 Version.Right ?
So now you can't unlock in landscape mode? Don't worry i will help you buddy ... Some peoples IPAD'S SCREEN LOCK mode turns into VOLUME "MUTE" mode...I will help you to fix that..
Go to ^^^^^SETTINGS Option General now you can see a Option "RESET "Press that Now you can more option WHAT KIND OFF RESET YOU WANT.?^^^^^^PRESS OPTION "RESET ALL SETTINGS " & reboot ipad. Now you see your IPAD its fixed...

If you have restored, then it is almost definitely a hardware problem. Your touchscreen may have a problem. Book a Genius Appointment, and a repair or a replacement will be offered.

Do give them a call, but If you have had your iPad for more than 90 days and have not bought extra warranty, then you will pay a lot for the call.

That is inaccurate. That applies to general questions, but as I said, if the problem is covered by warranty, Mack will not be charged.

Mack, just call Apple tech support. Since you're beyond the 90-day free support period, they may ask for a credit card up front in case the problem is one of software, not a hardware fault, but if the problem is one that is covered by warranty, you will not be charged. Apple will send you a box to send your iPad it to them for replacement.

Alternatively, you can go through Apple's online service assistant to request service:
