I can't unlock in landscape mode, and when i press the the letter "t" it came out twice and same thing with the number 5. The problem started once i updated to ios 4.2. Some time the screen will just lock up and I can't do any thing. I have to hard boot the iPad before i can us it again.
And you in that same post said that Mack would have to go to an Apple Store, which is incorrect. I reiterated to make sure Mack had the full, correct information.
You are hardly the nicest of people.
You say that because I said that you were wrong? I said that only after you contradicted me for something I know to be correct, having worked professionally with Apple for many years.
Sorry you have had your feelings hurt, but if you say something here that is inaccurate, you should be prepared to be contradicted (and to have something you posted reiterated by someone else) and not get into a snit about it. It happens to all of us; none of us are right 100% of the time.
It wasn't that. Its just you seem really blunt, probably, although you are helpful on this site, posting about 10 posts a day for 10 years, you can't have much of a life.
Where was I blunt to the original poster? If you mean blunt to you, if that hurt your feelings, again, I'm sorry, but I attempted to be polite in my correction of your misinformation once but you didn't seem to accept that I know what I'm talking about in this case.
As to my life, I'll thank you to keep such comments and opinions to yourself.
'nuff said. This does not help the original poster, so let's drop it at this point.
In order to unlock/lock your landscape you have to double tap the home key. You will see apps appear on the button of the screen. You have to swipe that screen to the left, you will see an iPod app (to the right) and to the left you will see the lock screen button. Once you press that you should be good to go.
