Select Apps to appear in 'Open In'

It appears that iPad limits only 10 apps to appear in the 'Open In' menus (e.g., the menu in the mail client). Is there any way of selecting which apps will appear here? E.g., I used to be able to see GoodReader as one of the options, but now it is gone and cannot find a way of getting it back in that menu.

iPad 3G 64G, iOS 4

Can you restart the iPad (hold the Home and Sleep buttons until the Apple logo appears) and see if that helps.

If not, we'll try some other hings

OK I've done that and checked a few other things.

In Notes, I still only get the same Message or Mail and no other options.

In some other Apps, eg Safari, I get a few more options but never Dropbox and no dropdown box to add other apps.

This is now a problem for me when it wasn't with my old iPad, which was stolen. When I restored to a new iPad from the cloud, I was missing quite a few apps and am left with far fewer than 10. Deleting one of these that no longer appears (neu.Annotate+) and reinstalling did nothing.
