Can I view a CD created under a PC (Windows) Operating System

Thanks for the tip, I've used Graphic Converter for years and, in my case, it does not work with the format the local hospital uses.

That's an unacceptable answer. They as a public service need their X-rays to be available to anyone who needs them to take to another doctor, referral, etc... That's why I mention Section 508. I would critique them under that http://www.section508.gov/ is a U.S. Federal Government statute that requires any agency getting Federal moneys to be 100% accessible to anyone with any computer. I would pursue them on that account, and/or the public service commission in your county or state.

They do make them available - all you need to do is ask; they just aren't necessarily usable (viewable) elsewhere.

I don't know if a privately owned hospital gets federal money and, as I said, you can get a CD; it just may not work on your computer or another doctor's in another state.
