Can't disable autoplay in iDVD

I know that you're supposed to go to map view and drag out whatever is in the autoplay box there, but there isn't anything in that box. Every DVD I burn starts autoplaying. I have a large project that I need to finish in six days and this is driving me nuts.

did you already try disposing of iDvd's plist?

First quit iDvd. Go to your Home folder (the one that looks like a house) > Library > Preferences >

com.apple.iDvd.plist

Drag and drop this file to the trash. Restart your mac. Now go to apple's disc utility and repair permissions.
May take a few minutes so be patient. Launch iDvd and try your iDvd project one more time.
