T9 Keyboard

I use the T9 on my android everyday, and I smile everytime I use it. It makes me soooo happy!!!

I used T9 on a dumb phone a few days ago and it reminded me how much I hate T9.

Tamara, that is great. We each have something different that works for us. This thread is for those of us who enjoy T9 and would like to see it on the iphone as an option. If you don't like it, you don't have to be involved in this thread 🙂

Posting in this thread saying your like T9 will really accomplish nothing. This is a user-to-user forum. If you want Apple to know how you feel, use the feedback link that Tamara kindly provided in the second post. By doing so, Tamara has already provided more useful information to this thread than almost anyone else.

And yes, I've told Apple I'd love to see Swype or something similar.

I also used the Flex T9 on my Android and loved it!! To each their own, but it was very quick, easy and accurate. I too, would pay for it if it were available. I'm not downing anyone for what they like but I know what "I" like.

I completely agree. I would love a T9 option as I often text and walk but want to be aware of my surroundings - T9 requires one hand and means I don't have to constantly watch the screen to work out where to put my fingers and see what the dictinonary has come up with. I can touch type on a regular qwerty and am pretty fast on the iphone but I just want to be able to look away from the screen so I don't fall down holes / make myself an obvious mugging target. Like others, I would also pay for an integrated download, the apps don't really cut it at the moment.

You are agreeing with a post made eleven months ago. Try doing what I do: text when you are standing still.

I can see when the post was created. There still isn't a resolution, I thought I'd add my two pence.

I like your alternative but I think Apple are capable of simultaneous movement and communication for their customers....I'd also like to be able to text discreetly under the table or something to avoid being completely rude at restaurants and parties...I love my iphone but this would make me completely adore it.
