noemail@noemail.org appears in podcast description, podcasts missing??

Hello, I have a group of podcasts that all have noemail@noemail.org appearing on the podcast page. I am using an xml feed from our audio/video platform which is fed into a feed burner feed. In feedburner I have SmartCast selected and where all the podcast details displayed ie: image location, summary, keywords and email.

The feedburner feed is being used on our web site and works fine so I know it isn't a feedburner issue. I have also requested to have two podcasts removed. It's been over a week and still nothing.

Two of our podcasts have disappeared? I resubmitted them a week ago and still nothing. Very bizarre. Once again, the short comings of itunes if you're a podcaster and they aren't making $$ off of you.

Thanks

HI Roger. Thanks for the reply. The podcasts that have disappeared from itunes are as follows:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/nationalpost/NPPostedPodcast
http://feeds.feedburner.com/nationalpost/arts-podcast

I am still subscribed to these podcasts and receive updated podcasts in itunes but both are not appearing on artist page or in podcast search on itunes.
Thanks
Steve

As you say, neither of these appear when searching on the title. I assume that they no longer appear at the itunes Store URL you were given when you got the acceptance email.

The feeds are difficult to read because there are very few line returns in them, but as far as I can see they are OK. FeedValidator comments that the 'link' tags are empty - this would mean there is no link to a website on the Store page, and I wouldn't have thought was a reason for removal - and that one of them has some HTML in an 'itunes:summary' tag - that's no advisable but certainly not fatal.

If a podcast is removed the author normally receives an email saying so (though not usually giving a reason) - reasons include technical issues with the feed (apparently not the case here), unacceptable content, or copyright infringement - which don't appear to be issues either.

So I'm afraid I can't offer an explanation. You could try contacting iTunes Support - they often aren't as helpful as one would like but possibly you might get somewhere with them.

Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options.

If the podcast was removed by itunes should I still be getting updates since I'm still subscribed? The other podcasts which are still there, would have the same type of feed stucture so they would also have empty link tags.

I tried contacting itunes but their reply was regarding a "purchased podcast"? I specifically stated that they are podcasts that we produce.
thanks for your help
Steve

http://feeds.feedburner.com/nationalpost/NPPostedPodcast - latest episode 17 December
http://feeds.feedburner.com/nationalpost/arts-podcast - latest episode 22 November

Both podcasts can be subscribed to manually in iTunes (from the Advanced menu - this has the same effect as subscribing from the Store page). In each case the latest episode which is in the feed shows perfectly well. I

f you subscribed from the Store page you should see all the episodes which are in the feed, even if the Store page itself is no longer available.
