Maximum memory for 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 20"
My 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 20" is an early 2008 iMac. Aple tech support says that the maximum RAM is 2GB x 2 = 4GB.
However the company who has been supplying my RAM for year, Datamem (with whom I am very pleased) says that one slot will take a 4GB module, making for a 6GB max. However it cannot take 2 x 4GB.
Can anyone confirm this?
