mac-formatted iphone 4 on PC?

Hello,
I have an iphone4 that I've always used on a mac. I plugged it into a windows 7 PC to try out the new Unreal SDK development. The phone is not recognized, and windows complains about drivers not working. iTunes doesn't see it either.

So, is this a mac-formatted phone that won't work on the PC? I've read that a PC formatted phone will work on either. So how do I reformat my phone for PC? Then I am hoping I can do a restore on the mac to get all the information back?

Thanks
Bob

There is no such thing as a "Mac" or "PC" formatted iPhone. There is the iPhone & iOS software, period. See if this support document is of any help:
