ITunes scrolling problem - new drivers hasn't helped

Hi, I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 7, 64 bit. The problem is when I am looking at my songs in ITunes. Using the up/down arrows or the scroll bar creates weird glitches on screen. The songs displayed just freezes with only a few at the top or bottom (depending which way I am going) actually scrolling. There is no refresh for the vast majority of the screen. If I click on a part of the screen that is frozen, the correct song for that spot will appear. If I then use the arrows to move up & down, I can manually get the screen to normal, but it is a pain. I first noticed this problem with iTunes 9 and thought iTunes 10.0 would solve it. No dice.
I have been finding similar threads and have tried everything that they mentioned with no results. Specifically, others have found issues with a multiscreen switch (not an issue here), with older BIOS (I just updated that), and with older drivers (I updated all the ones Dell told me to yesterday).
I have Windows Update on automatic, so all recommended and important updates are happening.

This solution worked for me:

Right click on the iTunes icon
Select "troubleshoot compatibility"
select "troubleshoot program"
select the checkbox for "The program requires additional permissions"

this seems to set the program to run as administrator. This fixed both my scrolling problem and my authorization problem (purchased videos would not play or sync)

There is a small black and grey box in the upper left hand corner of the itunes page.I clicked on that which brought down a menu.I clicked on preferences which opened the general preferences window.I clicked on advanced which opened another window. at the bottom of that window is the option to enable the full keyboard navigation. I clicked on that. Now I can scroll itunes pages using the up and down arrows on my keyboard.

What I noticed with the new version is it sizes too large in Windows 7. What I do is pull the window down in the window using the title bar, then resize from one of the top corners to make the iTunes window smaller than what the screen size is. Then hit the maximize button and it resizes properly to the screen size and the scroll bar is there.

Resizing the window then maximizing it works temporairly, if you close iTunes you have to resize it and maximize it again. Personally I think you should not have to use compatability mode for software that is supposed to support your version of windows.

Apple please fix this issue before the next major release of iTunes, because I really don't want to wait a half of a year for this problem to be fixed. I know I for one would very much apprecieate this small fix.
