Wife's iPhone4 Unable to Send Pics to Mine

My wife and I upgraded a couple of weeks ago to the iPhone 4. However, whenever she sends me pics (via MMS) I never get them -- yet others who DON'T have iPhones do. This was not a problem with our 3Gs models.

I might add that she's able to get pictures from me, as well as my getting text messages from her without a problem. We are both at the current software update as well as having the latest version of iTunes.

Any theories as to why this is?

Hello I had the same problem

I went to settings - messages - mms button I turned off then on and it seems to work okay

Don't know if this helps but it is worth noting I was sending photos ok then all of a sudden it Decided not to work

I think it has something to do with iMessage once I turned that off every thing worked fine no need to restore reboot or any thing I did this on both my phone and my wife's phone now we can send pictures fine

I can confirm conway123's solution. On Verizon, some picture messages need to be received on the carrier network (like visual voicemail). iPhone to iPhone on iMessage can be done on wireless. Settings, Network, Cellular Data "ON." It has not been necessary to turn Wifi off for me in order to get the messages, so long as Cellular Data was set to "ON."

I solved this problem by going to message settings, turning MMS off then on, then turning iMessage off then on.

My wife and I both have 4S phones and just did a software update (7.0) and found the same problem sending pics. I found if you are in "send a message", type in your message in the message box right above the key pad, then add in your pic.. Don't put the pic in first. This solved our problem. Good luck.
