Apple TV Crashing / Resetting Itself

My Apple TV (2nd Generation) has started to reset itself after a few minutes of either a program or movie. The first crash happens usually after about 15 mins of viewing, but then subsequent ones occur after around 5 mins.

I'm running up to date software version 4.1.1 and my itunes is the current version of 10.1.1 (4)

I've tried resetting all settings but its made no difference. Any ideas on what to try next?

I had the same problem.

I disabled the airplay and it took care of the problem. (for now)

The fix is to set the setting at netflix to lower video steaming settings and to set video to 720 on apple tv setting.

this fix has worked for 4 days, no hiccup. As for Apple tv 2, this is what i own. Not one reset. used to do it every hour.

I've had the problem for awhile, but it seems worse. I have NFL game pass and every time I play a video the arc resets after 5 seconds. I've reset, restored, switched to wires, turned off airplay. Has anyone gotten their arc swapped out at an Apple Store?
