Ihave tested several Iphones, both black and white. its not the color. Its the camera and flash. Each and every phone can be different. If the camera lens and the Flash are not placed precisely, it can cause problems. The flash is too close to the lens and in manufacturing, there can be variations in the angle of either one, causing ghosting. This is not a software issue, its a design flaw. Take your phone in and ask for an exchange. If your lucky, you will get one that is made better. It took me 3 phones to finally get one that was right.
Amother thing to check. If you have a case on your phone such as an otterbox, this can cause problems. Anything with an aditional cover over the lens will cause problems. Your lens and cover must be absolutely clean. No finger prints or smudges.Example of ghosting caused by fingerprintGhosting caused by finger print
Any plastic phone case that surrounds the camera will cause problems. Otterboxes for example. You may need to make the hole larger on the case. of course this is rediculous since you paid so much for the case to start with.
My Phone went from taking great pictures to foggy ones when using flash... no change in cover . I took the cover and cleaned and still get foggy photos when using the flash.
