iPhone 4 alarm not working since 01.01.2011

My alarm didn't work since 01.01.2011 too! This is the first time it ever happened. Hope Apple can fix this real soon.

What compensation will Apple offer for those of us unfortunately enough to be working this morning 1st Jan, and 2 hours late to work?

I guess I shouldnt rely on my iphone as a alarm clock, but when you spend upwards of $1000 on a phone with alarm functionality, you expect it to work, without the need for a second alarm clock!

Same issue here, worked yesterday but not today.

Yeps... 2 iPhone 4's running 4.2.1 and 4.0.2 No alarms.... Set the date back to 31/12/2010 and alarms working sweet. Obviously a coding problem with the 1.1.11 timestamp.

I'm sure a first year uni student wouldn't have overlooked a coding error like that....

I have kind of the same issue. The only difference is that even my reoccurring alarms don't work. Any one have any thoughts?

I just tried setting the recurring alarm and it worked - too late for my golf today. Looking forward to an early response from Apple......

AHH! I didn't make it to the airport because of this! I set my alarm to 720am, and it didn't ring! When I woke up at 902am, I tried to set it to 904am, and it didn't ring! Then I set again to 906am and it STILL didn't ring!

Thank God I was supposed to go send a friend off, and not actually board the plane, but this is TERRIBLE! Apple can't even get an alarm to work okay!?

May Apple could solve this problem as soon as possible. I was at lost without the iphone alarm. very painful and worried. I know nothing is perfect. But IPone is .....................

Alas - my wife and I both have 3GS, running 4.0.2 and 4.2.1 - neither of our alarms woke us up. And we had put our phones on airplane mode before we went to sleep! Both had to be at work at 0800! Poor form apple, very poor form - can't wait to see the effects in Europe and USA...

As a temporary solution:

1. Create a recurring alarm,
2. Set it to the desired days (tick every day to set it to work on all days of the week)

This has been tested and is working.

Apple better use some non iCrappy programmers to do the job!!! This is iKiddos' error!

Same problem. Seems to have stopped this morning in Australia

thanks Apple - missed my flight this morning despite setting 2 alarms - none went off. Tried resetting the phone and nothing.....grrrrrr

Yeap - i was only 10 mins late for work! Lucky i woke up by myself at 4.35AM otherwise i would have lost my job! not a big fan of the iphone and this has made my thoughts on the product even worse!
