iPhone 4 alarm not working since 01.01.2011

iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.1 alarm not working since 01.01.2011. Tried different settings such as turning off automatic update and changing location. Nothing seem to be working. Any solution?

No problem. This is because all alarms is set for year 2010.
Delete all old alarms and create new ones (for year 2011)

i deleted my all alarm and added new one, it works, i thing this problem occurs because

There seem to be no updates on this forum since January, but my alarm on the iPhone 4 didn't go off again since the daylight savings time change on this weekend (March 12, 2011)
I tested many times on Saturday and Sunday even today (Monday) and still doesn't work. I tried to set back the date to March 9 (last week when still worked) and it worked again 🙂 But when I set the correct date doesn't work anymore.
So I don't think is a good solution to keep the date set as an old date.
Is there any other app from the appstore which I could use it instead of the Clock app which comes with the phone?
My firmware version is 4.1.

Click Edit then delete any and all alarms.
Create a new alarm and your problem should be solved

I tried deleting all my old alarms and creating new ones. This did not help.

For me, as of the DST change over on 3/12/2011, the repeating alarms go off one hour early. I have tried several fixes I found online including turning the phone on and off, switching to manual time and back to automatic, and deleting existing alarms. The only thing I can get to work are non-repeating alarms. They actually go off when they are supposed to. This is very annoying and I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed yet. Obviously Apple isn't planning ahead. Can anyone say 'Y2K'?

I still have the same problem.

I tried deleting them etc, but it didn't work. I still get woken up an hour early.

Non-reoccurring alarms however work.

What I do is when I wake up an hour early is to set a countdown timer for an hour. But this still *****.

Where is a fix? Does setting the time permanently to manual solve the issue?

My alarm works for a day, but then switches itself off again. I have to go back into the clock app to switsh it back on again. Tried deleting and creating a new alarm. I was on 4.1, updated to 4.3.1 on the 10th April. Still does it.

I've been up since 6 cos I'm scared it's not going to go off again.

Think I'll revert to an old wind up clock!!

I have had the same problem of my alarm not making a sound since about a week (now June 23, 2011) I just did a "restore" on my iphone and it seems to have done the trick. We'll see tomorrow. Iphone 3G.

Well, unfortunately the alarm did not wake me up on June 24th. Luckily I had bought a cheapo alarm at the supermarket. I will never trust it again, even if Apple says they fixed it. I have had an iphone since 2 1/2 years without any problems. Do not understand what went wrong.

My alarm clock does not work right either. I have the latest update, Verizon 4.2.10 and still there is an alarm clock problem.

Monday, 6:00am the alarm clock works correctly.

Tuesday, 6:00am the alarm clock goes off for the first time at 11:00am. Every one in the office laughs and holds up their Blackberries and Galaxies.

Wednesday, 6:00am the alarm clock works correctly.

Thursday, 6:00am the alarm clock never goes off.

I guess structuring an alarm system into the iPhone is too complicated for Apple.

No dependable alarms in an iPhone makes it useless.

My alarm has not been ringing for a couple of weeks now. It activates but it is always in silent mode. I have the volume up and everything else is ok with the phone. This is really annoying as it is my only alarm for work :-(

C'mon apple sort it out.

I have installed Night Stand lite as an alternative, it is a free app in the app store it seems to work really well plus it gives you a fully illuminated clock for those moments in the night when you wake up and think you have overslept ;-)

easy. just set your allarm clock with all the days of the week checked (v) and it will work again.

anyways this is a bug that then got solved on 2nd of january.
