Pairing iphone with bluetooth wireless printer hp Officejet H470

I have recently purchased an HP Officejet H470 printer. I have also purchased a HP bt500 Bluetooth USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter Q6273A. I am having problems pairing the two items. I spoke with hp representative whom stated I need to do some configuring on the phone. I have tried just pairing the two devices but the phone does not find the printer Please help.

I have a wireless HP printer, but it's not supported by airprint. Thankfully, the OP can go into the App Store and there is an HP Wireless Printer app. And voila, he'll be able to print from his iPhone to his HP printer......

Not a feature of iphone.

The printers that work with airprint are listed here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356

There may be an app that allows for this, not sure.
