How to access the developer forums ?

I didn't pay (yet) and I got in. But I had to use the browser on my iPad. None of the browsers on my Windows laptop worked, including Safari. Don't bother to ask me why I develop on Windows, that's my choice because I find the best overall tools all work on Windows better than on Linux or Mac. Just sayin'....

And yeah, Dammark, I had the exact same problem you did. It kept redirecting me back to the page because of a JS error about a deprecated command (shows up in Firebug debugger). The only thing browser that ignored the error was Safari on iPad.

Have you even used a modern Mac?

Developing for iOS on a non-Macintosh system just adds complexity and ends up with people like you posting about self-inflicted problems.

And I'm not 'Just sayin'....'.

I'm dead serious.

Michael, thanks for your info but I'm not actually developing for the iOS platform. I'm hiring contractors, but I am the one who needs to sign up for the Developer program according to the documentation. Thus, my attempted foray into the forums. I wouldn't attempt to develop for Mac on a Windows machine and I didn't mean to knock the Mac. I have just found that, for me, the tools I need work better on Windows. I used both a Mac and a Linux machine in a previous job, so yeah it was pretty modern. I just found it really strange that I was getting this error even in a Safari browser on Windows, and Dammark was getting it too -- on a Mac.
