goddady publishing question

I've purchased hosting and a domain name from Godaddy. Let's say it's www.mysite.com. How do I publish from iWeb to ensure that my homepage publishes at www.mysite.com? iWeb puts the "site name" into the address when it publishes (www.mysite.com/name ofsite). This means although everything loads up fine, if someone goes to www.mysite.com, all they will see is the default Godaddy page that says, "Coming Soon!"

I'm awfully green at this. Any help would be lovely.

Okay. To avoid this, what you need to do is rather than using the iWeb built in ftp, download Cyberduck for free from the internet - it is a dedicated ftp programme and you need to use this to upload your site to GoDaddy.

Go to iWeb and publish your site to a local folder - so select ftp to a local folder and then you need to open Cyberduck and upload only the contents of your site folder and NOT the whole site folder itself.

If you do this, then your url will be http://www.domain.com/pagename.html rather than including the site name, as will happen if the whole site folder is uploaded.
