Okay. To avoid this, what you need to do is rather than using the iWeb built in ftp, download Cyberduck for free from the internet - it is a dedicated ftp programme and you need to use this to upload your site to GoDaddy.
Go to iWeb and publish your site to a local folder - so select ftp to a local folder and then you need to open Cyberduck and upload only the contents of your site folder and NOT the whole site folder itself.
If you do this, then your url will be
http://www.domain.com/pagename.html rather than including the site name, as will happen if the whole site folder is uploaded.
