iPhone 4 Power Button Stuck

Brilliant, thank you, works perfectly, just had to change my password as button over first digit

My 4s has the same issue with the power button, Mine is 2 years 20days, gald I didnt spend the money for apple care.

apple has to cover that part with a new phone if they dont then they are screwing ou over my family members button broke and she went to get it fixed with no cost because it is an older phone.

Hey Johnnie, yeah I did. I can shut it off with the Assistive Touch but can't turn it back on with the button. I had to plug it in for it to turn on. Thanks anyway though

Hi, I have been experiencing the same problem with my iphone, with the only difference that this time when I plugged it in, it didn't turn on...

Effie, did you try plugging it in using both the AC adapter and then the USB to PC/Mac adapter? One or the other may start it up again.

If I use a compressor, is there a certain way i have to blow the power button or do i just blow it? How do I blow it?

DANG. Me too. My 4s is just at a year but out of warranty and now no power button. Has the Genius Bar been helpful recently or am I better off with an outside repair for $50ish?

This just happened to me as well on a 4S. If I create a gesture to shut the phone off, how would I turn it back on if the power button doesn't work? Thanks.

I will suggest you go to a local phone repair store and most of them can actually repair this problem. They did it for me for only $10!! See below my post.

I took mine to a place called ubreakifix.com. They fixed it for $30 and there is a 90 day warranty on the repair.
