Is the iPhone4 4G?

Great! I thought it was just me not understanding! I look forward to the announcement. 🙂

There's an added complication - LTE is not 4G according to the International Standards Organization. They define 4G as 100 Mbps or higher, and LTE doesn't come close. So LTE is really only faster 3G.

We got all of that covered with the stuff in here 😉 .

In the original definition that was true but they have since somewhat relented, or widened their definition, or wussed out, or whatever else you want to call it and defined LTE Standard as 4G (They had already defined LTE Advanced as 4G). I'm sure this had nothing to do with pressure from Verizon, MetroPCS, AT&T and others. And no money was involved. At all.
