apple bluetooth keyboard w/iPhone 4 -- SEND text message?

Anyone found a fix yet?

I've tried... fn+enter or space, ***+enter or space, alt+enter or space, com+enter or space

and all the combination you can think of, consist of fn, ***, alt, com, shift, and enter or space.

this is ridiculous. You bought a $600 phone and $50 BT keyboard, and you cannot "send" message. God D it.

Help, I'd really like a keyboard combo to 'send' . Be it in Mail or iMessage or anything (I'm on an iPad opposed to an iPhone) Can you folks at Apple look at creating a decent keyboard combo for iOS 6?

Don't tell me, tell Apple using the link I provided. I have no problem tapping the send button on the screen.

It seems so silly and lazy of Apple to not add one teensy bit of code so that hitting function+return gives you a send command in Messages. I hope this is fixed in IOS 6. Either that or I am jailbreaking this thing!

i printed out all of the commands and some that i found on other pages and wrote the first 5 pages or so of Moby Dick. The went back and capitalized every 3rd word. Still fell like I'm sniffing glue, but at least it's Elmer's now.

i still do not get it, why there is no send option implemented in ios for bluetooth keyboard. it just does not make sense to switch between the iphone and the keyboard. i mean being able to fire up certain apps with keyboard is another thing. but a send shortcut for a bt keyboard, is elemental. can anyone at @ apple give me a hint why this is not possible? if not, please include it in the next release.

Apple doesn't repsond here. Use the feedback link posted above to let them know how you feel.

Hi I read that there aren't any shortcuts to send message with iMessage. But Facebook with Messenger, just hit cmd + enter and it will send 🙂

Putting a "+1" here doesn't accomplish much. Submit your feedback to Apple directly using the Feedback page:

Even though its few inches, why we can't use the fn + enter to send a msg? what's so complicated!ℹ

+1 here. i want to use my apple wireless keyboard with my iphone and viber app. Apple we need a solution asap to atleast be able to send message from keyboard!
