Cannot change password thru web site

There was a previous topic about this same problem but it is closed to posting.

When I try to use the settings->password link in the Wiki collaboration to change a password, I get an error to the effect that possibly the password server cannot be contacted.

The Web error log includes an error that a file WebServer/Documents/collaboration-availability is missing. Also .../RESET.

A posting on the previous thread indicated that a secure connection was required, and sure enough, when I changed the protocol to https://<hostname>/settings/<username>/password, it worked.

So could somebody with the right to submit a bug report please do so? Probably the generated html for the settings page needs to get fixed.

I guess in the meantime I might try an alias?

all, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
