iWork 09 will not open on G4 10.4.11

Recently I downgraded my iBook from Leopard to Tiger 10.4.11. Leopard was simply too much for a small processor with 2 GB RAM. Machine runs much faster in Tiger. Tiger install ran with no problems.

Before downgrading to Tiger, I cloned the existing HD to an external via SuperDuper. The downgrade was an erase and install. I figured I could simply drag over from the clone the User Account and any compatible applications.

iWork 09 presents a problem as latest versions on the clone are Leopard+ compatible only. I reran the DVD installer (upgrade version). Installed were v 4.0 of Pages; 2.0 Numbers, and 5.0 Keynote. However, the apps will not open.

Am I missing something here?

Appreciate any help. thanks.

"All's well that ends well." 😉
Sometimes starting over from scratch is the easiest & quickest.

Indeed. The strange part of this experience was literally removing all the iWork components set out in the various threads on this topic, yet still not being able to open any of the apps after rerunning the DVD Installer. My curious self wants to know "who's blocking the flow here"? My less than curious self says "now that's it's working I really don't care". 😉
