iPhoto 9.1.1 crashes upon photo import

I've done everything posted and I'm at my breaking point. I've reset the cache, rebuilt the library, deleted the prefs, created a new library, repaired permissions, created a whole new user for the machine, reinstalled iLife, reinstalled OS X. Any other thoughts out there? Error says image not found and Library not loaded?

This is from dragging in a photo, the later one is from iPhone import....

The usual fix for the first crash is to reinstall iPhoto.

To re-install iPhoto

1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name. On 10.6 those receipts may be found in the Finder using the Go menu and selecting Go To Folder

In the resulting window type

/var/db/receipts/

3. Re-install.

If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.

If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.

The second is +not an iPhoto Crash+

It's a crash on a third party app called *Phone Disk*, which uses a hack to access the Phine. Try removing that and seeing if a re-install of iPhoto works.

Regards
