Maximum Disk Size Under 10.4.11

Is it correct that 10.4.11 will not support a single drive over 2TB? According to Western Digital with respect to their Studio-II 4TB disk and as stated in the last sentence:

Mac OS X 10.4.10+, 10.5.2+, 10.6.x (Snow Leopard.Note: The 4 TB version works with 10.5.2+ and 10.6.x only. OS X 10.4.x+ does not support hard drives with capacities above 2 TB.

As always, thank you.

G5, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 6.5GB RAM

Thanks BDAqua. Further in that link it states "Learn the limits for files and volumes on disks that use the Mac OS Extended format (HFS Plus) in Mac OS X, including journaled HFS+ volumes." That would lead me to believe that Extended with Journaling is possible but maybe I am misunderstanding what is being said.

All of my storage is Extended with Journaling. Is GUID compatible with GUID and vice-versa? I will need to swap data back and forth...
