Bluetooth + Wifi Interference issues

Hi, I recently bought a Magic Mouse for my MacBook Air. My wifi connection worked fine before (I had the Bluetooth turned off, no bluetooth devices at all), but after I started using the bluetooth for the mouse, the wifi connection is almost unusable. Sometimes is better and I don't have interferences at all, sometimes is worse - but most of the time is very slow. Changing the wifi channel sometimes works, but only as a temporary solution. Turning off the bluetooth restores the connection to the normal speed.
Anyone with the same problem? Any solution for this, besides stop using bluetooth?

MacBook Air (Late 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.6), 13", 128GB storage, 4GB RAM

Has anyone reported this as a bug. I've talked with 3 other MBA users who experience exactly the same thing as I do. ie. shut off BT WiFi works/Turn it back on lose any reasonable WiFi speeds.

Has anyone tested Mac OS 10.6.7 to see whether this bug has been fixed or not? I'm going to do it right now but if it's still in place I think I'm going to call Apple Support!

Nice one! Fixed my problem on new MBP Retina.

Alson tried to change the channels but with little luck.

Didint work, problem came back 😕 Managed to get an Official Apple USB Ethernet Adapter for £10, resolves my problem for now, but would prefer Apple to sort issue soon! 😐

Same problem here with the new MBA 13' (i5/8/256).

Has anybody exchanged the unit for a new one to see if these bluetooth + wifi conflicts are still there? I am seriously considering the option...

Having the same problems with BT connected. Tried different channels 1-15 no luck. If I turn BT off it works but I use the apple BT keyboard and mouse.

Any solutions?

SIMPLE SOLUTION:

i just changed my Routers Settings from 802.11gn to 802.11g and from Channel 11 to 5.

Now everything works fine.

I wouldn't go so far as to call this a "solution".

Turning off the router will make the problem go away too, but that's no solution.

I have no more problems with bluetooth et WiFi on my MBA 2013.

This really works for the Wifi/BT interference but since I did the little maneuver, my Magic Mouse seems to lag, especially when Safari is loading a page.

Thank you!!!! I changed my Wifi network channel from 36 to 40 and issue is resolved.
