"Yellow Tint" on my iPhone 4

Hey there,

I recently discovered that my original iPhone 4 had a distinct yellow tint on the LCD. Please understand that I am not speaking of the yellow blotches that are apparently common. I am speaking of an overall yellow stain across the entire screen. When I compared my phone to Three of my friends' iPhone 4s there was a blatant difference between my screen and theirs.

I searched online and found a person who had the same problem as I, who reported That they brougt it to an apple store and had it replaced. Unfortunately I live in Newfoundland, Canada with no apple store for god knows how far. So I called apple and we arranged that they would send me a new iPhone and I would send my old one back. I received my new phone today... With one problem. It has a yellow tint.

Has anybody else had this problem? Is it a ridiculous coincidence that I got two yellow iPhones in a row? What do I do at this point? Ask for another one? I'm slightly worried that apple is going to charge me the price of a new iPhone for some reason. Sigh. I shouldnt have to be going through this after purchasing the "best phone" on the market.

Maybe but I don't think so. Neither of my friends have had this issue, and one of them only got his recently (after me) and it wasn't the case. Could there be a difference between suppliers?

And that's another question: if apple deems that there wasn't any fault to the phone, are they going to take the amount of money they have held on my credit card? Or just the repair bill of 200?

My one Yes.
My original iPhone 4 was bluish tint but recently the replacement is yellowish tint due the original one was a hardware defect.

I spoke to Apple store that I don’t want the yellowish tint screen because it appears bit more dark & dingy and NOT as bright as bluish tint screen. Unfortunately, Apple refused it.

Very disappointed with this matter.
I upload the photo at below link, the right one is my current yellow scrren iPhone 4.

The photos are not a fair comparison as you are comparing an iPod Touch with an iPhone 4 which both have slightly different screens.

Sorry I did not explain clearly, the photo I posted was under account name "samie88" on Jan 21, 2011, 10:15 AM. Not the photos in the begining of the page.

The left one (iPhone 4) was a display model in our local Apple store. The right one is my replacement, both are set to max brightness and turn off Auto-Brightness.

Anyway, our local Apple store does not want change for me, any idea please.
