converting swf to mp4

I've been reading so many different forums on how to convert SWF to MP4. Finally, I summarized three solutions:

First one: HandBrake . This tool is a free and open-source multi-threaded transcoding app. It supports nearly any videos including WMV format and has Mac version and Windows version.

Cons:

1. HandBrake is too professional to handle for most people;
2. It doesn't support MOV as output format.

Second one: there are many third party software which supports converting SWF to MP4. I just test one of them. It's professional yet easy to use and the service is excellent. And there is a step by step guide about how to use this tool to convert SWF to MP4 on Mac

Cons:

Most of them are not free.

Third one: Online-Converter . This kind of converter does a great job on file conversion.

Cons:

1. Like most online converters, the free version of this tool only allows you to convert videos smaller than 100MB. It's too small for video conversion;
2. 2.Your MKV video should be upload to the internet to be converted. This means the risk of pravite information leak is possible.

I have tried all the software above and also this swf to mp4 for ipad converter, they are all great, all can help you convert swf video to mp4, then import to itunes and sync to ipad, best quality and fast speed. I think you can just have a free trial as me and then choose the one that you like best.

Wrong, there are plenty of converters, and you can embed movies inside a Flash File, it isn't always just used to load a movie, alot of times people embed the movie into the swf itself.

I really agree with your idea.
Now, many tools are technically able to realize the conversion. And,I just tried some converters from the suggestions, finding many of them charged. Then I searched new solution and think the free swf to mp4 converter from this googled post is a good option.

Format Factory will convert SWF video to a different format, but that's just video, none of the interactivity is maintained.

If you don't need to maintain the interactivity, FLABACO seems to work pretty well to convert swfs to MP4s.
