Wireless Scanning With Epson Artisan 810

Hi Syd. My name is Reg, and I'm having a bit of a different issue with my Artisan 810. I was scanning last night and it suddenly froze. This is the first problem I've had with it after several months of flawless service. I uninstalled everything, unplugged, reset the printer drivers as per your suggestion in an earlier post. When I reinstalled with the latest software, the Artisan blinks at me. Three of the amber "buttons" on the front panel ((Display/Crop, Menu, the back arrow, and Back) are blinking. Now I can't print, scan, nada. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm working on a Mac Pro running 10.6.8. Thanks.
Is it official that this printer can't scan directly to a Mac from the panel on the printer itself? (to Lion 10.7) 😟
This worked for me when I was unable to scan documents with Epson Scan:
I was able to get wireless scanning to work on my Artisan 830 by using Image Capture and selecting the printer/scanner in the left column.
