Logitech MX 610 and Mac OS X

Has anyone used an MX 610 with Mac OS X yet?

I have just purchased one and was wondering what other people thought, how well it works and if they had managed to get any software to work with the "extra" functions that the mouse provides!

AlPB 1.5Ghz 15" 2GB RAM, 128MB VRAM, Mac OS X (10.4.3)

I can now give you a further update - it would seem that the MX610 does not present a standard mouse interface... the mouse moves OK when connected but none of the mouse buttons appear to work properly.

As a result, it doesn't "just work" when connected to a Mac...

I am returning it to the store today!

Logitech's Mac support has "left something to be desired" for quite a while, to put it kindly. But...

There has been some discussion in Logitech's Mac forum (select the Macintosh link from this web-page) about MX 610 users who had ~good success using USB Overdrive as a driver for the MX 610...

If it's not too late for your to "test-drive"...

You may also want to search/post on this topic in the Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse forum. I can't recall whether the MX 610 has been discussed — but various Logitech MX series products have been...
