Restore Verizon iPhone from ATT iPhone backup

I have an ATT iPhone through my company, but because I would also like to make a receive calls with my mobile phones, I have a Verizon account. Yes, ATT is that bad for me here in Los Angeles!

So, now that Verizon has an iPhone I ordered one, but the info I can't find is if I will be able to use the backup from my ATT iPhone to set-up my Verizon iPhone.

Does anyone know or can anyone point to the location of this info if it exists? I searched but couldn't find anything specific.

I wouldn't think that the carrier you choose would make any difference.
