Verizon iPhone ship date

Whatever the official release date for the Verizon iPhone is - when it will be available for sale at Apple and Verizon stores and any other retailers will be the day you receive it or the day before. I recieved my iPhone 4 pre-order with AT&T the day before the release date at retail stores.

It seems that the individuals who purchased their iPhone from Verizon have already seen shipping information. Some have posted that they have carrier delivery dates for next Monday.

The announced that all recent orders should be delivered on or before the 10th of February.

FYI - I ordered my iPhone from Verizon at 2:48 am on the 3rd. When I went to Verizon yesterday to check my status, it said shipped. Now today at 12:00 pm I received an email with the Fed Ex tracking number and scheduled delivery for Monday, Feb. 7th! It is now in transit in Coatesville, PA.

Same here I am kinda shocked verizon got the iPhones out before apple did. Apple usually ships very quickly

I ordered in PA at exactly 3:00 a.m. on Feb. 3. I had a confirmation within an hour, and before 7 a.m. it was showing on the Verizon Track Status page as shipped. This morning (02/04/11), I had the carrier information and a tracking number. The tracking information indicated it had arrived at a location about an hour from my home in NE PA. Around lunchtime today, the tracking information updated and said it had left that facility around 10:20 a.m. Given how close it was, I'm sure it's at the carrier's local distribution center about 3 miles from my house. I thought I'd be lucky enough to have a late afternoon delivery, but no such luck. My guess from what I've seen and read elsewhere is these devices are being strategically shipped to local UPS and FedEx centers for a massive Monday delivery frenzy. That would make sense given that everyone gets his/her iPhone on the same day. Imagine the uproar and virtual sniping if a handful of people got their phones today simply because they were closer to the storage facilities. I could be wrong, but that's my theory, and I'm sticking to it!

*+It's 6:42 EST and I received another shipping update. The carrier, by the way, is UPS. The estimated day of delivery that UPS provides indicates Monday, February 7 to be the "big" day.+*

My order shows it shipped and that the courier is MC6, whoever that is.

I just checked a couple of sites online, and apparently you're not the only person who had MC6 listed as their courier. It seems to be causing quite a stir, with some folks going to great lengths to solve the +Mystery of MC6+.Quite honestly, I wouldn't care if Darth Vader were listed as the courier, as long as I could see a delivery date and no exceptions in transit, I'll be happy with whomever rings the doorbell on Monday.

I ordered mine thru Apple.....i received a conformation email right away saying mine was prepared to ship and under my order i see MC6 then some more letters and numbers does that mean whos shipping it or what? thanks

I wish I could answer that, but I have no idea what that means. I'll bet if you Google "*MC6 Verizon iPhone shipping*" you'll find an answer or at least others looking for the same information.

i really don't think thats the courier......im sure apple will send another email confirming the shipment.....right now it says just prepared for shipment
