Easter 2011 is missing on the Holiday subscription.
Can you fix it?

Finally found a Christian Calendar that includes all the key Christian holidays at http://www.markthisdate.com/calendar/Christian_Holidays_573/add-to-calendar.html (Click on the Apple iCal link in the "Choose your calendar below" section of the page.)

The calendar you cite is not even close to having all the key Christian holidays. It has 11 holidays (plus a couple of 'Eves'.). Its developers seem to think that the "Feast of the Guardian" is more significant than - I don't know - Easter! It's a ridiculously paltry calendar and I can't concieve of a reason why it would be offered for use.
I'll admit it's not perfect, and it focusses more on some of the Catholic days, but are we looking at the same calendar? When I subscribed to this one, I got the following (plus a few of other lesser days): Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Annunciation, Good Friday, Easter, Ascension, Corpus Christi, Transfiguration, Assumption Day, All Saints Day, Immaculate Conception, & Christmas. I agree it's entirely inadquate (noting, as well, that it only goes through 2013), but at least it has Easter, unlike the official Apple iCal. Maybe if I find some extra time this summer, I'll create my own and post it for sharing....
I'd love to have those, but honestly, I'm comparing the Christian holiday offerings to the Jewish holiday calendar that I also subscribe to (http://www.hebcal.com/ical/jewish-holidays-all.icshttp://www.hebcal.com/ical/jewish-holidays-all.ics) and there's simply no comparison. The Jewish calendar shows all the major and minor dates, including start/end of each month of the Jewish calendar, along with brief explanatory notes. That's exactly what I'm looking for for the Christian calendar and I remain shocked that no one seems to provide this.
Anyway, these are the holidays that are showing up in my instance of the Christian calendar you suggested:
Epiphany, St. Valentine's Day (not even really a religious holiday), Annunciation, nothing at all in March, April, May, June, July; I guess there are no Christian holidays at that time; then we continue in August with Transfiguration and Assumption Day, Feast of the Guardian, Reformation Day, All Saints' Day, Immaculate Conception, Christmas (hey, there's one I know!), and Childermas.
As I said, it's a pretty useless collection. Asking for a robust Christian calendar is basically asking for a guide to a subset of notable dates of the world. It is no more an endorsement of a particular religion than buying a Farsi-English dictionary means that you support the government policies of Iran. It's informational, and the available sources of this information are just inexplicably sadly lacking.
Very strange that Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter, Ascension, & Corpus Christi aren't showing up in your instance of the calendar. In the Applie iCal version that I accessed through that link, those days are all there. Regardless of that, I couldn't agree more with your assertions. For me, this whole situation is surreal in the extreme. Almost makes one wonder whether Christianity is slipping into irrelevance faster than we think....
I've submited a bug report to Apple about:

Hopefully it'll get fixed.
Great! I hope that works.... Thanks.
Don't hold your breath.... Apple no longer maintains these calendars. They have not done so since 2010.
Thanks for this, but I looked through it and it's missing Cinco de Mayo which is a major USA Holiday for most Americans. Makes me wonder what else it's missing... Bummer. 😐
Wow, that's weird, I was missing Easter from the 2013 iCal US Holidays subscription, but after deleting caches, etc. and messing around with iCal preferences, etc., Easter just popped up just now. I guess it was just a glitch.
I had this same problem. Easter disappeared from my Mac and that of my husband, but remained on my iPhone and iPad. Could not figure out what to do. After reading your post, I just went to the Calendar heading above my ical and did "Refresh all". It worked immediately--I did it to both computers. Thank you very much. Refresh alone did not work, I had to Refresh all. I had emptied my cache as well, but don't think that was necessary. I really appreciate your tip. The calendars are the things that cause more trouble from time to time-especially the subscribed calendars.
Try going to 'Refresh All' on the Calendar menu. I did and Easter's back!
I'm long past trying to work with it. It was always an inept attempt at best. Here's what I use now (which is tailored to Anglican/Episcopal and will be overkill for many): http://www.lectionarypage.net/#iCalendar. Good luck!
