Connecting to a printer on a local wireless network.

I work in an office where my Laptop pro (Snow Leopard) is configures to the Canon iP2770 printer via direct USB connection.
I'm told I should be able to configure it to work via the company's wireless network.
How d I do this?

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6), Snow Leopard - Canon iP2770 - wireless network connection

If this model support wireless then it can be configured to connect to the wireless router. This configuration may have to be performed via the USB connection - some of the new models have the ability to connect via their control panel but this model probably does not have the feature.

With the printer connected to your laptop, open Print & Fax and select the iP2770. Then open Options & Supplies and select the Utility tab. This will open the Canon IJ Utility and if the model does support wireless then the Network button will be available. Selecting this will then let you set the wireless network settings. If the Network button is not available then this model does not support wireless.
