Lexmark Drivers Update causes wirless Lexmark Printer Model X6570 to stop

Anyone having issues with Lexmark printers that stops working after the recent driver update. I have multi function X6570 that stopped accepting wireless printing from my macbook.

Thank you,

Well the problem of drivers & printing breaking at every upgrade seems to be fixed for now (indeed without any apologies or explanation from Apple and also I have an irk they may yet come back). 😐

However WiFi printing is still rather haphazard as it suffers from very frequent connection loss, where the print queue complains it cannot reach the printer. One batch (usually the first goes out just fine, the next may well fail. Both our iMac and MacBook Pro (recent models) have this very annoying problem. And no : this is not a bad WiFi network, as all other network activity does not suffer from this in the least!! 😟 I daresay I am technically quite savvy to boot.

Cheers, next printer will indeed be not a Lexmark.

Unfortunately even 2.11 upgrade from Apple breaks everything. I have 10.8.2 and I was trying to use scanner via WiFi - my printing was fine over WiFi. Finally I decided to try newest Apple drivers (2.11) hoping it will finally solve all problems - how naive .... 😠 Again total disaster . Now I have to start reinstall procedure from scratch to get back my WiFi printing again .....

cheers
