Can't delete BBLaunchAgent.app process
How do I get rid of this problem?
Macbook 13-inch aluminum (2.0 GHz, 2 GB), Mac OS X (10.5.8)

You may be looking within your user Home folder.
Use FindAnyFile, or copy the text below (including the initial /) & pasting it into Finder - Go menu - Go to Folder... then clicking the Go button.
/Library/LaunchAgents
Removing the plist mentioned & restarting will stop that process, although the actual files won't be affected. You can see where they are using FaF, or by selecting the process in Activity Monitor, double-clciking it & choosing 'Show Open Files & Ports.
It's gone!! I found it with the Activity Monitor, the BBDaemon was also lurking in there, and I deleted that, but the BBLaunchAgent would not be deleted. So I then used Finder, deleted the plist thing, and restarted. It is not on the Activity Monitor any more, and I will now go hunt it down in its lair and kill it.
Thanks for your help,
Coen
It's a pleasure; you might check the longer list to see if the uninstall process missed anything else.
None of those links work. Who cares about Blackberry anymore.
Follow the instructions given by jsd2. They worked for me.

If you didn't use its own uninstaller, you should do so.
If you've already done this, then:
Look in this location:
HD>Library>LaunchAgents
for this file or something similar:
com.rim.BBLaunchAgent.plist
and look in this location:
HD>Library>LaunchDaemons
for this file or something similar:
com.rim.BBDaemon.plist
If you find either or both of them, trash them and restart.
How to remove BBLaunchAgent via Terminal.
1. Launch Terminal: Apple menu Go > Utilities > Terminal.app
2. Type command line: launchctl list then hit the enter key. This will show a long list of launch Agents.
3. Look for a file name called: com.rim.BBLaunchAgent and copy the name.
4. Relaunch Terminal with a clear to start screen. Type this command: launchctl remove then paste com.rim.BBLaunchAgent and hit the enter key. Band, this rogue BBLaunchAgent is gone!
It works for me 🙂
and got the idea from here http://osxdaily.com/2011/03/08/remove-an-agent-from-launchd/
The deletion of thse *.plist files stopped the pop up from occurring. I looked long and hard to stop the pop up.
