When comes iTunes with an update for Safari, in a way that I can download websites based on flash? Or maybe Apple could reach some agreement?

I find it continuously ludicrous that day after day, week after week, and month after month we have to listen to people come here and demand that Apple add Flash support.

Get over it people. The iPad is Apple's product, and they will decide what does or doesn't go into it and run on it. They don't owe you A THING User uploaded file If you don't like the limitations, then please please please go find a competing product that does what you want.

Apple does not exist to do our bidding.

Apple are internet and communication providers. Their primary interface is the internet. If they want to play on the internet they must comply with all the technologies that the web is built on, including Flash.

What makes Apple so special that they think they can pick and choose which one's we developers should develop for and which not. Flash is cross-platform, cross-brower and supercedes most of the development problems created by multiple web formats - keep in mind Safari always differed more than the other browsers for years! ...again this mentality that they are somehow special.

They are not the only one's and they are not an island, be fair and be competitive. Right now they are not. If they want to add anything to the world wide web they must open and offer all avenues.

Wow! I didn't realize you were that important.

As for citation, the Design Business Association (DBA) is the only and primary business association for the creative industry of which the majority (and all the biggest creative agencies) belong. I have been a member of the DBA for many years - 100% of the member agencies use Adobe products as their primary mechanism for creating the marketing you see everywhere you look.

That says nothing about the percentage of websites that use Flash. All is says is that 100% of the people who belong to an organization of people who use Flash... use Flash. And how can something be both the "primary" and the "only" of anything?

The fact that Apple have sidelined Adobe and Flash in this way means they are sidelining the entire creative industry!

There's only one creative industry?

Why are you posting to a thread that had no activity for 2 months?

Did you do any research before posting, like reading Steve Jobs Thoughts on Flash, which touches on Apples past relationship with Adobe?

You do know that Adobe didn't create Flash, but they bought it? You are aware of the recent security holes in Flash? Again.

Why not have open source software on the open source Internet?
