Itunes reopening after quit

I've been having the same issue for several weeks with my itunes software.

I have searched and seen this issue caused by last.fm, MSN Messenger, etc... I don't use any of the other plugins or applications most of the fixes mention. I have gone through and closed an open applications and processes, just leaving the default Win7 and itunes processes running. When I close itunes, it reopens immediately. The only want to close itunes and not have it reopen is to use Task Manager to kill both the itunes process and the itunes helper process.

I have checked and verified that my itunes is up to date.

Check Dashboard to see if you have any iTunes-related widgets running. If so, close them and see if that makes a difference. Similarly, look for any third-party apps that may be related to iTunes, such as apps that copy "now playing" information to a web site.

Another possibility is external speakers, if you have them. Another user here found that a loose speaker connection may cause random launching and playing on iTunes. Try wiggling the speaker plug and see if that causes iTunes to launch. If so, unplugging and reconnecting the speakers may cure the problem. If not, you may have a defective speaker jack or an off-side plug on the speakers.

Mine just started doing this after the 1067 update.
No plugins in the usual locations.
No widgets running.

No programs that access iTunes that I know of.

Same problem here on my MacBook Pro.
I use iTunes 10.2.1 and MacOS X 10.6.7

When I quit iTunes, iTunes reopen and hide then.
But not always. Only when I restart the MacBook or relogin to the user.

I use no other program or widget for iTunes.

The strange is, this problem is only on my MacMook.
On my iMac is all ok.

I found that Hyperdock was causing iTunes to reopen.
Disabling it fixed the issue.

I use HyperDock too.
When I disable HyperDock, iTunes do not reopen.

I have a friend that is having the same problem using iTunes 10.2.1 on a Windows 7 machine. There are no plug-ins, programs, devices, etc. that are causing iTunes to re-launch. Apple, please fix this bug!
