Apple USB Power Adapter - Output Current In mAh?

What's the output current of the Apple USB Power Adapter (that you get with the iPhone) in mAh? Is it 1000 mAh, or perhaps 500 mAh? Does anyone know?

I'm really bad at electrical stuff. Is 1A the same as 1000 mAh? Probably not. I want the rating in mAh, please.

mAh is an indication of battery capacity, i.e. how long a battery will last at a given discharge rate. mAh is not a unit for output current... that would me mA or Amps.

1A = 1000mA.

mAh = milliampere-hour, one-thousandth of an ampere-hour. They answer I gave you is what you're looking for.
