Photo Jpeg codec

Does any apple VP of software know if Final Cut Pro supports the photo jpeg codec?

All Apple Machines, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Just my two cents... But why edit in this format. Why not just export it in COmpressor with this codec.

AJA and Blackmagic Design support Photo jpeg in and out or their cards. It was apple that dropped the ball for three years. As I reported we used apple computers with FCP Ver 5 , AJA and Blackmagic Design hardware to edit and playback to air. When apple release FCP ver 6 this work flow was lost. The software could not render a dissolve or wipe with the correct levels gamma ....they broke it.
Still broke in 7.
