How to slow down a live drum loop

I brought in a drum loop of a live drums that I found on the internet which was 232 bpm. So I set my tempo to 232 and then figured out that it was too fast. I tried slowing down the loop by just slowing down the tempo but that didn't work. How would I slow the whole drum track down? And is there a way to slow it down but keep the drums sounding the same and not lower pitched?

Maybe it's got something to do with the loop I downloaded. I tried pulling in an real instrument drum loop from the loop browser and it came into the track a blue color, and when I selected the region I could check the Follow Pitch and Tempo box. The loop I dragged in from iTunes was colored orange and the Pitch and Tempo box stayed grayed out. Did I import the loop wrong?

my apologies, i didn't notice you were using GB5, those instructions are for version 6. in version 5 you need to add a step. change the region from orange to purple:
