Radeon 9200 Pro Mac Edition?

I use an old (about 5 years) PowerLogix 2.0 GHz 7447A processor.
It's been over a year since anything over 1.8 GHz has been available, and that was a Newertech 7448 2.0 GHz processor.

Chips that could clock that high were few, so there were a limited number of upgrades at those speeds.

Where are the 4 bumps?

As long as the extrusions aren't longer/deeper than the connector itself, then they shouldn't be in the way.

No adapter that I have has those extruded "legs".

They shouldn't be a problem.
If they are, clip them off.
It's just plastic.

DVI-I to VGA is as basic as it gets.
There is nothing special about that adapter that would preclude its use.

Adapters allow stress to be more easily applied to connectors (more leverage). The legs provide further support for the connection by contacting the surface of the PCI plate surrounding the connector, making for a more stable connection.
