So you converted the video to .mp4. Great.

Now open iTunes, go to File -> Add to library... and select your .mp4 file. iTunes will do one of 2 things: add it to the Videos list, or throw an error.

Once it's in iTunes, if you are managing your music manually, then you need to manage your videos manually as well (via drag and drop from the Videos source list in iTunes onto your iPod in iTunes).

If you're managing your music automatically, then check the Video tab and make sure it's set to automatically sync videos as well. Then re-sync with your iPod.

Since you are not getting any alerts, it would appear that you cannot "communicate" properly with the iTunes application. Problem could be anything from inappropriate preference settings to a problem with read/write permission status. If you have been "playing around/testing" various options and settings, you may end up having to go back a restore the original default settings or even reinstall iTunes.

i can now convert to acc but i keep getting a error

Have no idea what ACC is supposed to be. Obviously it is not MPE4 video with AAC (LC) audio and not H.264 video with AAC (LC) audio. Suggest you find someone in your local area willing to provide some "one-on-one" experience explaining which applications should be used and how they should be employed. The MPEG1 format employs sequential blocks of video data interspersed with blocks of audio data in a single stream. The iPod, on the other hand, only plays "frame-to-frame" (separate audio and separate video data streams) of 2 particular types with very specific parameters. If the files do not meet these conditions, iTunes will not load them to your iPod. End of story.
